Quick meals

Are you a student, working dad or mom, single, or just wanting to have a quick meal? I have to learn these quick meals the last few weeks since I am playing single dad to a 5 year old boy with an extreme healthy appetite. Many people have busy schedules and want to be able to eat a good but also quick meal. There are many ideas for a quick meals that anyone can use. Here are some suggestions for quick meals that I have used the past two weeks.

Chicken and Veggie Quick Dinners
If you want a quick dinner but also would like it to be healthier, and have a lot of greens then here are some veggie quick dinner ideas. One of the best quick dinners to make in your own kitchen is a chicken salad. Salads pleases anyone because you can choose what you want in them. You can put any kind of vegetable in a salad, or if you are a meat eater you can also put your favorite meat in your salad as well. Some popular salads people like to make include: Caesar salad, Italian salad, Greek salad, oriental salad, Green Salad, and many others to think of. And since my son needs to be on a low sodium diet, Salad is best way to control his salt intake.

Quick Pasta Dinners
Are you a pasta eater? Pasta dinners are also simple and take only minutes to make. All you have to do is pick your favorite pasta, boil it, pick your pasta sauce and ingredients and you are all set. Some popular pasta dinners include Spaghetti and Meatballs, Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, Ravioli, and more.

Sandwiches
Now you may think that Sandwiches are just for lunch however you can have a sandwich for almost any kind of meal. Sandwiches can take 5 minutes to make. All you need is bread, mayonnaise, and your favorite ingredients. There are also hot sandwiches that you can make like a turkey, mashed potato, and gravy sandwich. One of the best hot sandwiches I had was two nights ago when I boiled some tender chicken breast meat, then seasoned it with some honey and a tiny pinch of salt. Add some mayo along with pepper jack cheese. Grilled the buns and yum it in to your tummy. I am hungry again now..
