Palm Springs

If you feel like taking a fun vacation full of entertainment options, you should think of Palm Springs. Often referred to as the Hollywood's stars' refuge, Palm Springs is a desert city in Riverside Country in California. It is also one of the nine cities that create the Coachella Valley and is hailed as "America's Desert Playground". It lures travelers with its variety of recreational activities and great Palm Springs vacation rentals.

With palm-lined canyons and cascading waterfalls, Palm Springs is a beautiful destination to visit. It's a vibrant city where you can fill your days with adventure, history and night entertainment while staying at a luxurious vacation home. There are also many opportunities for outdoor recreation, museums and art galleries if you are looking for an alternative plan to spend your days. One of the city's must-visits is its famous Aerial Tramway. It's the world's largest rotating tramcar and it takes you up to 8,500 feet above the desert floor where you can witness the most breathtaking scenery. Once you are there, you can also enjoy cross country skiing during winter and camping in the summer. Sounds like a great place for a Valentine getaway weekend.

Palm Springs is a self-described “desert oasis” and for good reason. The vacation homes that litter the desert and surrounding mountain areas are testament to the natural beauty that exudes over the entire area. It is not hard to find Palm Springs vacation rentals that match the exact specifications of every visitor or traveler. These vacation rentals offer great stays for the whole family or as a secluded getaway for couples. Palm Springs is not for the lazy. If you enjoy lying in bed all day, stay away from Palm Springs. There are numerous famous golf courses around Palm Springs, perfect for the casual golfer or the more serious golf pro. Visit the Classic Club for a great public course, or head over to Desert Willow Golf Resort for a championship course. But these are only a few of the many extraordinary courses sprinkled over this desert oasis.

Palm Springs may not be the best place to bring the kids, but it offers fantastic dining in a culturally forward town that places strong emphasis on entertaining people’s minds as well as their legs.
