While other industries have more than enough workers, others are booming and expanding every day. These industries need more workers, and they are willing to pay for them. These expanding industries offer some careers that may be a good choice for those entering college, or even those in college, so what are these in demand careers?

Graphic Designer
In order to become a graphic designer you must be creative and have some artistic talent. You must also be good with computers and able to work the softwares necessary to do the job. The average salary for a graphic designer is $48,810 a year.

Superintendent
This requires quite a bit of education and experience. You must have teaching and administrative experience in addition to a college degree. The average salary for a superintendent ranges from $115,000 to $200,000.

Correctional Officer
It may not be a good thing that there are more of these people needed, but it's a fact. All you need to become a correctional officer is a high school diploma, although having an associate's degree comes at an advantage. The average salary ranges from $53,280 to $67,290.

Accountant or Auditor
To get into this career, you must have a degree in accounting and be able to adapt and work new software. You must also be good at problem solving. The average salary for an accountant or an auditor is $63,290.

Food and Beverage Director

To become a pharmacist, you must have a doctor of pharmacy degree and you must take an exam and obtain your license. The average salary for a pharmacist is $81,370.
