Ski Camp
Need a ski vacation in the summer? Try summer camp at National Alpine Ski Camp. This skicamp has been running camps on Mount. Hood for 26 years. Quality, not quantity, is what separates them from the other camps on Mount. Hood. An extremely low 6-to-1 camper to coach ratio allows them to quickly identify and facilitate the motivation and movements of each racer, and then customize an individual plan accordingly.
National Alpine Ski Camp offers six, 10-day sessions or combine two 10-day sessions for a double session. They train GS and slalom daily and all the National Alpine Ski Camp and I hear all the coaches are returning again this season. The National Alpine Ski Camp campus is at Copper Spur Resort located on the north side of Mount. Hood. Campers stay in log cabins clustered around the National Alpine Ski Camp campus, each with spiral staircases, fireplace and TV for video movement analysis. Full, 24-hour supervision is provided by the NASC coaches who live in the cabins with the campers. The food is prepared by the chef at the Spur Steakhouse, which is also located on the NASC campus at Copper Spur. More than 10,000 campers agree that National Alpine Ski Camp rocks.
