Father and Son

Dear Readers,

It's another day in paradise. The weather was perfect. The sun was out with a gentle breeze that cools the skin. My son and I did a little window shopping at the local electronic store. Upon entering the store, my son's eyes caught on to a giant TV screen that was playing the recently popular movie "Happy Feet". Look!! daddy, he yells out. Penguin Penguin!! like the ones in the Zoo. I like it. Can I bring one home?
To this thought, I suddenly reflect back to a conversation I once had with my dad when I was slightly older than my son's current age. It was a time where my dad took us for a cross ocean vacation to the United States and we visited a famous zoo on the West Coast. Of course the highlight of the zoo for that month was the North Pole Penguins. We dashed quickly in to the site to see these little life tux wagging their tails, walking funny from side to side and swimming so agile like a fish. Upon enjoying the sight of these magnificent furry cute creatures, my dad suddenly whisper in my ear, doesn't these penguins remind you of something? I look back at my dad, and said, they are cute and the funny walk they do are just too hilarious! My dad smiles at me and said, your Mom walks like that too! I just burst out laughing when I heard that. Of course my mom wasn't too please by that remark but she was always a good sport.
What an ironic moment it was today, when my son ask Me, Can I bring one home? and to that remark i quickly answered, Guess what! Grandma! is coming to vist.

Tired and Weary

Dear Readers,

The following is a verse I read today. What an assurance this is to know that there is a being greater than our imagination. An idea that is beyond comprehension.
Hard to imagine because it is un-imaginable.

No matter how difficult circumstances may seem, nothing can separate us from the love of God, but rather "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Rom. 8:37).

Here is my response to the verse above -

My king the Lord of Lord
You are my all in all
In my tired soul, you replenish
with living bread.
In my weary thirst, you
replenish with living water

The Levites cross before the sea PARTS
Faith is true only when it is tested
My soul I long for thee
Morning will soon break
Feel all alone with my demons
Who is this Light that comes my way?
I call up His name
He Is the One whom will set the captive free?
Jesus, rescue me

The Lord heard my prayer

Dear Readers,

It is by recognizing my own failure that God releases
blessing, courage and strength upon me and my household. This has
been a story book eventful year. Below is another reflection of my life using my
limited range of words. It's title - The Lord heard my prayer.

The word "Sight" plays a double meaning within the words below.

As I knee before His majesty at nights and early dawns
He heard my many prayers of psalm 31
It’s a mystery why certain things happen the way they are
These mysteries are miracles that God have unto us
I always wonder why God would answer these prayers of mine
As Abraham about to throw down the determine cut
Hanging humbly on the cross, you chose to have your blood drip away
Always, you are the conqueror, the one and only Living Christ
Who heard my prayer and answer it with a perfect sight.

You took her hand and held on tight
A king who step down to call me by name
You were, You are and You will always be
The King who brought me to my knees
And answer my prayer with a perfect sight

Every moment is not an accident
With your last breath you utter the words
That put my heavy soul on your shoulder
You are the God who understand
The risen one whom still listens to our prayer
It’s more than just about man who once walked these path
He is air that I breathe and the living water that quenches my thirst
I am unworthy to bow before His merciful grace
He is The one who brought me my perfect sight

Content

Content - Old Twin Trees

You don't have to say a word
You need not tell me how you feel
Just by your smile is satisfaction
Thru my heart and thru my soul
I need not ask anymore
I need not say
The voice of your sweet melody
portrays elegance and leaves me in disarray

Seeing you is like a blessing
Listening to your voice is heavenly
This is how I pass my days.
Remembering your sweet praise
and viewing your picture with a daze

Joy - See it in the water

Joy

Watching the sun rises every morning
Knowing Someone is there for me
As warm as the sun is shining
knowing only when is thinking of me

Just talking to her seems illuminating
I've been to places and seen many people
No one to me seem as exhilirating
A person with a convicted heart
Unable to open up with casual
She is indeed a beauty from head to toe
With not much flaws except a gentle heart
and a soft voice

which she uses like a great work of art
Love by many indeed
because of her bright smilling personality
Indeed very much by me with a great passion
She is to me the answer to Joy.

My First Time

Dear Lonely Readers,

This is my very first time on a blog page of my own. A bit tentative yet exhilirating at the same time. I will post as much as I can my thoughts and hope that it will bring a difference in your life.
